Microsoft news: Surface Pro and Laptop from the new Copilot+ PC series bring elegance and full AI integration

The American tech superstar has unveiled more new additions to its Surface hardware family. Special versions of the hybrid Surface Pro and Laptop should be available in Europe and the Czech Republic in September, but we can already look forward to them.

So far, the latest regular editions of these two devices came out a few months ago. Both have Intel processors inside and are already AI-ready. Read on to find out what they can do.

Microsoft Surface Pro Copilot+ PC

A hybrid device that can be used as both a tablet and a small handheld laptop with a full Windows 11 operating system. It has a Snapdragon X Plus or Elite chipset, Ram from 16GB and SSD storage from 256GB. The 13-inch display comes in a basic LED variant, but you can get a more expensive piece with an OLED version.

You can get a Surface Pro Flex Keyboard to go with your device. It’s lightweight, comfortable, quiet and has a large touchpad with haptic response.

The computer has thorough security, an environment for apps to work professionally, and takes advantage of all the capabilities of AI. For example, there’s easy navigation through documents and messages, real-time call translation, tools for creative work and sorting handwritten notes. Just beware, some of the features are only available for the core languages of English, Chinese, French, German, Japanese and Spanish for now.

Microsoft Surface Laptop Copilot+ PC 

The laptop comes again in two sizes, 13.8″ and 15″. With great performance and great endurance, it’s destined to help you handle huge volumes of work like it’s nothing.

A short description of this laptop would be: smart, fast and thin. It too has Snapdragon X Elite or Plus processors, up to 32GB of RAM and up to 1TB of SSD storage. The touchscreen boasts a high maximum brightness of up to 600 nits. The laptop dazzles with up to 22 hours of video playback and an 80% charge in an hour, a nice and quiet keyboard with Copilot key, a precision touchpad with haptic response, and plenty of ports so you can connect up to four monitors.

The machine is thin, sleek and, weighing just over a kilo (smaller) and a kilo and a half (larger model), light and easy to carry. It’s great for video conferencing as it has the most advanced audio system and an AI-enabled camera. These take care of things like getting the lighting right or focusing on the face or maintaining eye contact.

And the broad security options and necessary AI tools that the aforementioned hybrid Pro offers are an integral part of that.
