Microsoft introduced a new mobile app called Office a few months ago. The app is now available for download on Android or iOS.
The Office mobile app offers a whole new experience that combines Word, Excel, and PowerPoint into one app. This reduces the number of downloaded apps and eliminates switching between them. The app also requires much less storage on your phone. With Lens technology, the user easily converts images into editable documents, quickly scans PDFs, and captures a table with automatic digital enhancement for more readable content. Finally, the Office app allows you to create quick notes, sign PDFs, or scan QR codes.
Microsoft continuously improves the Office app. For example, support for third-party storage such as Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, and iCloud is one of the latest improvements. Another example is templates that help the user create new documents, tables, or presentations. More innovations are on the way. The Office application will soon be able to rewrite verbal dictation into text or display a preview card instead of an entire table in Excel. Lastly, Office app plans to enhance the PowerPoint experience by providing the ability to prepare contents of your presentation.
Users can download the Office app to any Android and iOS phone. The app is free and without a login. Users with an Office 365 or Microsoft 365 subscription will unlock various premium features that are consistent with features in current Word, Excel, and PowerPoint programs.
